Total number of offers to first-year students â a historic high
âWe are deeply grateful to every student who applied to the University of Virginia this year,â said Greg Roberts, dean of admission. âThe strength and thoughtfulness of the applicant pool were extraordinary, and the record number of applications made our work both inspiring and challenging.
âAs we shape the firstâyear class, the weeks ahead are focused on helping admitted students discover what life at UVA is truly like,â he said. âFrom our Days on the Lawn open houses to virtual programs, admittedâstudent tours, social media takeovers and celebratory events in high schools and communities across Virginia and around the world, we are committed to creating opportunities for students to engage with UVA wherever they may be.â
