Saturday and Sunday, the University of Virginia will host nearly 40,000 celebrants for the Class of 2024âs .
UVA will award 7,616 degrees to undergraduate and graduate students in the class over those two days. Of those, 4,394 are baccalaureate degrees. Fun facts: The oldest graduate is 71, while six 19-year-olds are the youngest members of the Class of 2024.
UVA Today has compiled a list of âdoâsâ and âdonâtsâ to make the weekend enjoyable for each and every guest.
śŮ´Ç˛Ôât wait to download your electronic ticket for the Lawn ceremonies, ÂéśšĆĆ˝â°ć main graduation events.

Download tickets on your smartphone prior to departing for the Lawn.
Step 1: Log into your Virginia Athletics ticket account at VirginiaSports.com /MyAccount
Step 2: Scroll down to the âMy Upcoming Eventsâ section and tap on the desired event.
Step 3: Tap the âAdd to...â button to add your tickets to your mobile wallet.
Step 4: In your mobile wallet, tap the âAddâ button to save your ticket.
Remember screenshots of tickets will not work and tickets can only be scanned once!

To transfer your tickets, sign in to your account from your smartphone.
Step 1: Log into your Virginia Athletics ticket account at VirginiaSports.com /MyAccount
Step 2: Tap âTransfer Ticketsâ on the menu.
Step 3: Select the event, and then select the tickets you would like to transfer. Tap âContinueâ at the bottom of the screen.
Step 4: Enter the recipients information and select phone number or email. Tap âReview Transferâ to continue.
Step 5: Once you have confirmed the information is correct, tap âTransfer Ticketâ.
Step 6: You will see a confirmation screen once the tickets have been sent.
Recipient will get a text or email and then must download their own tickets.
Step 1: Tap the link sent to your text messages or the âAccept Transferâ button in your email.
Step 2: Review the ticket information and tap the âAccept Transferâ button to continue.
Step 3: Log in to your Virginia Athletics ticket account or create a new account if you do not have one.
Step 4: You should now see the ticket in your account. Add the ticket to your mobile wallet by tapping the âAdd to...â button.

Do take advantage of complimentary parking at
Scott Stadium,
the Emmet/Ivy Parking Garage
or John Paul Jones Arena, where there will also be free shuttle services.

Itâs against the law. Do donate them to UVA Health Childrenâs after the ceremony.
Do arrive at the Lawn early for first-come, first-served seating on either Saturday or Sunday.
Entrances open at 7 a.m. Students will begin processing promptly at 9 a.m.
