• Bert Ellis Jr., of Hilton Head, South Carolina; CEO and chair of Ellis Capital; chair and CEO of Ellis Communications KDOC LLC; and president of Titan Broadcast Management. Ellis holds an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree in economics from UVA.
• Dr. Stephen P. Long of Richmond, partner with Commonwealth Pain Specialists in Richmond, a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Randolph-Macon College and of Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Medicine. He is an associate clinical professor of anesthesiology at VCU and has served on the boards of the VCU Health System and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. Long previously served on the UVA board from 2011 to 2015.
• The Honorable Amanda Pillion of Abingdon, a member of Abingdon Town Council and an audiologist at Abingdon Hearing Care and Abingdon ENT Associates.
• Doug Wetmore, of Glen Allen, the senior vice president of Centauri Health Solutions (formerly Ivy Ventures LLC, of which Wetmore was a founding partner). He is a graduate of the UVA School of Law.

The appointments of Dr. L.D. Britt, of Suffolk, Frank M. Conner III of Alexandria, Barbara J. Fried of Crozet and C. Evans Poston Jr. of Norfolk concluded June 30.
