Kelly West

Student: This year was my favorite year at UVA.

Student: This year, some of my favorite memories were being at the Lawn, seeing the Rotunda every day on my walk to class.

Student: I feel like I’ve grown up a ton this year.

Student: I’m moving into my freshman year – or first-year dorm – sorry.

Parent: I’m so happy and proud of her, but it’s hard letting them go.

Student: The people really make the place, and what I remember the most is just us.

Student: The Harrison Olympic Sports Center isn’t just a new building. It represents opportunity.

Student: I think the most fun part of this year was the Florida State game.

Student: All the other leaves turn orange and then fall. The last one standing is that beautiful Pratt gingko.

Parent: Good morning. Would you like a hug or a high five?

Tony Elliott, UVA head football coach: Do we have the will to win?

Players: That’s 11. That’s 11. That’s 11.

Lori McMahon, UVA vice president for research: We see the sky as the limit. We are always curious, and we are always on pace to make the next big discovery.

Student: The first day that it snowed was like actually magical. Everyone was outside.

Student: It’s going to be bittersweet, kind of counting down for the light show to come on. Lighting of the Lawn is one night, but it’s bigger than one night.
