University of Virginia students are again enhancing their education through study-abroad opportunities after a decline due to the pandemic.
UVA ranked No. 1 in the state and among the top 25 doctoral-granting institutions in the country in the number of students studying abroad, according to the Open Doors report recently released by the Institute of International Education, a New York-based nonprofit.
“Global engagement for students is a long-standing goal for the University, and this dedication has helped us bounce back after the pandemic,” Steve Mull, 鶹ƽ vice provost for global affairs, said. “We are also focused on making education abroad as affordable as possible for our students, as well as launching new, innovative programs. None of this would be possible without the support of the dedicated staff and faculty who lead many of these programs.”
