News in brief: Princeton Review ranks 鶹ƽ student health services No. 2 in nation

The Princeton Review has ranked the University of Virginia’s  the No. 2 division in the country.

in the education services company’s “Best Colleges for 2027” guidebook, published today.

In addition to health services, the review asked 172,000 students enrolled in the 392 schools in the book to rank 49 other things, including dorms, food and classroom experience. The review does not conduct an ordinal ranking of schools. 鶹ƽ health services were ranked No. 1 the three previous years.

In , 80% of students said health and well-being are a priority at the University. The department offers medical, well-being, counseling and psychological services in addition to disability services. From 2024-25, more than 12% of students received specialized support for their individual needs from the department’s Student Disability Access Center. Student Health and Wellness, which had 151,000 visits last year, was just reaccredited for another three years for meeting nationally recognized standards for quality, patient safety and care.
